The official airport policy for smoking at the airport states that it is strictly prohibited to smoke inside the buildings and on the terrace. Smoking is only permitted outside the terminals.

Prayer Rooms at Vienna Airport

One of the prayer rooms is however accessible to the public. It is located on level 2 in Terminal 3 and it is open around the clock.
The airport pastoral care office is located near the same location and it is manned by staff between 10 in the morning until 1 at night on weekdays, from 8 in the morning and two hours onwards during Saturdays, and for 2 hours from 7.30 in the morning on Sundays.
The pastoral care team can be reached for emergencies via a phone call, number is listed at the entrance to their office, and a Christian church service is held at 8 in the morning on Sundays.
Medical Care at Vienna Airport
The airport has an outpatient clinic located on level 1 in Terminal 1 Arcade Walkway. They provide primary care in emergencies and acute cases, and treatments that are required during flight operations. The services are available to passengers, visitors and employees.
The clinic is open from 7 in the morning until 7 in the evening all days of the week.
The clinic also offers a range of vaccinations, such as Yellow fever, Typhoid fever, Rabies, Hepatitis A and B, Malaria, TBE and more. Most vaccines have to be had several weeks before traveling so make sure you are covered. When coming to Vienna Airport to get vaccinated you may park for free for up to 1 hour, and make sure to bring your vaccination certificates and signed vaccination sheets with you.

When items are lost on the ground, at the airport, or on a transfer and someone finds them, and hands them in, the airport's lost property office handles it.
The lost property office at the airport is located on level 0 in Terminal 1. The office is open from 8 in the morning until 6 in the afternoon/evening every day of the week. This is where a lost item can be collected. Items can also be sent via courier at the cost of the owner.

Taxis - Official taxi cabs are found outside the arrivals hall, and there is a City Transfer counter located inside the arrivals hall. Other taxi services that might be offered in person should be rejected as they are not conducting legal business and do not have legal permits to offer this service. CAT offers a quick transfer to the Wien Mitte every 30 minutes from early morning until around midnight. Two CAT stations are located at the airport, one on each end.
S-Bahn is the local rapid transit train and line S7 serves the airport and the center of Vienna with stops along the way. The station is located underground.
Railjet (ÖBB) provides routes to the center of Vienna as well as to various national and international destinations. The station is located underground.
